Appearance: Lithe and fit, regal in bearing. She looks and carries herself like an island princess. Her exotically titled ice blue eyes are a startling contrast to her nut brown hair and creamy coppery skin.

Background: Dabria comes from a chain of islands that were sundered during the overthrow of the Shifters. Several Witch and human tribes suddenly found themselves cut off from their sisters and brothers. With the Earth in such upheaval, the humans turned to the Witches for protection and, in return for their spells, the humans helped support the Witches. Eventually a sort of theocracy was developed: the Witches are the clergy and help keep the island safe and prosperous. The humans have their own leaders, but tithe to the Witches (ever read the Pern novels? Same concept. Anyway). The islands flourished with almost no contact with the rest of the world. After several disturbing visions reported by the Seers, the leaders from each tribe met and decided to start sending people to scout the Outside World. Lo and behold, they began to find the Night World. Imagine the surprise, particularly the vampires since (I THINK, according to the chronology of the books) Maya didn't cast her spell until after the Dragons were put to sleep. (Any questions so far?). Therefore, Dabria knows precious little about the construct, rules, and hierarchy of the Night World and its species.

Hobbies: Magick, herbcraft, gem magick, drumming and dancing

Talents: Spellcraft, Archery, Rapport with things of the earth (plants, rocks, earth critters, etc.) Dabria can see the flow of power over the Earth, like looking through water or smoke. People and things of power disturb the current's flow, more power, more disturbance. So an average human would look like a light breeze whereas someone like Maya (old and very powerful) would look like a thunderstorm.
