+History+
Tanwen was born and lived a relatively uneventful childhood. Naturally quiet but sweet, and naturally gifted with clairvoyant visions, Tanwen took life in stride with the a soft smile and the supportive love of her sisters. As a child, she was proud of such a gift and was pleased with what she was she was allowed to see. When she was old enough, she joined the House of Gealach.
While still a young Gealach, Tanwen saw a vision of children burning in a fire. Being a Gealach and, therefore, very fond of children, the naive Tanwen rushed to the village to warn the Elders. Unfortunately, the village Elders were rather religiously fanatic so, when this exceptionally pretty girl with green hair and violet eyes came telling of visions of burning children, they cried "demon" and attempted to burn her. Tanwen, shocked, confused, and scared out of her mind, tried to defend herself with all of her newly acquired power. She flung the firebrands from the hands of the Elders and tried to bind them. Tanwen and the Elders were so focused on each other that neither failed to noticed that the firebrand hit the surrounding buildings and spread their flames. It was the screaming children in the town school that got everyone's attention, but it was already beyond hope.
She fled for the mountains where she would not be a danger to others, but she still saw visions of pain and death (a result of her horror of causing the school fire). Over time Tanwen began to hate the images and by extension, hate herself. Eventually, the visions faded and became less frequent until one showed her sister, Elowen, in danger. The desire to help her sister outweighed Tanwen's fear, and she returned to AMA to protect Elowen. She was beginning to regain some of her old spirit when the Third Court War broke out and House Gealach fell. Her mind and body broken, Tanwen was found dying and delirious by Milia Reul-iuil. Milia nursed Tanwen back to physical health, but her nothing remained in her mind beyond her rescue. Milia called her Tailyn, what she gleaned as a possible name from the rambling, and adopted her into the family.
Tailyn was friendly and became an outgoing girl as she recovered. She joined Sirona when she was strong enough because of its talents in divination as she apparently had a precognitive talents. Tanwen (or Tailyn) was existing happily in her new life when her memories came flooding back. Now she faces the choice of returning to who she is or remaining who she has become.
